No. BTWS helps parents coach supervised practice and build defensive-driving habits. Use it alongside required driver’s education and professional instruction.
Does it satisfy my state’s licensing requirements?
BTWS is a parent coaching course. Do not assume it provides state-required credit or replaces a permit, required instruction, supervised hours, or a road test. Check your state licensing agency’s requirements.
Does my teen need a permit before we start?
You can watch and prepare together before driving practice begins. Before your teen drives, confirm the permit and supervision requirements that apply where you will practice.
Is this only for homeschool families?
No. It is designed for parents and teen drivers, whatever school your teen attends.
What if I’m not confident teaching driving?
